FOXPOPS is our fox nut snack. They’re roasted lotus seeds (you may know them as makhana) that we pop, season, and pack in clear bags so you can see exactly what you’re getting.
You can order bags right here on our website, and you’ll still find us at markets and food festivals too. Fun fact: fox nuts have more protein than popcorn, with that same satisfying crunch.

About the snack
What are fox nuts?
Fox nuts are the edible seeds of the water lily plant. People also call them roasted lotus seeds or makhana. Before they’re popped they’re tiny and hard, and after roasting they turn light and crunchy, which is why they make such a good snack.
The FOXPOPS name comes straight from that: fox nuts that pop. We pack them in clear bags so you can see them before you open them, with our geometric fox on the front. You might notice caramel artwork on some of our pack designs; that’s packaging art, not a flavor list.
If you reach for popcorn or chips for the crunch, fox nuts sit in a similar spot, with a familiar texture from a different plant.
